06 / ACTIONS How the object acts
Extend
Lengthens a line. The earring continues where the jaw ends.
Fold
Turns a plane. The folded sheet changes the line of the ear.
Distort
Interrupts symmetry. A folded loop shifts the outline of the ear.

From space to body

Founded in Los Angeles
by two architects.

ARKVEIL began with a question: what happens when the principles used to shape space are brought directly onto the body? Each object begins with a change — extending a line, interrupting a silhouette, folding around the body, or holding space against it.

The body is not simply where the object is worn. It is the site the object transforms.
